I love these books and have made a habit of reading them once every year or two just to re-kindle my passion for them. These are the most elaborate books ever written, and are full of a rich history dreamed up by J.R.R. Tolkien. The time, characters, and communities all have a background that defines them, including songs, traditions, and even languages.
